Thursday October 14th

Today we continued to explore the seasons. At circle time, I showed the children several pictures of various seasons. Ex. pictures of snowmen, swimming, playing in leaves etc. I then asked the children to help me identify the season.

At art time, we then took the leaves that we had collected outside and made our own tree art. The kids were introduced to liquid glue and were told that a dot was perfect for the job. I am happy to report that the kids did great with the liquid glue.

Today we continued on with Letter B, and the kids did their B handwriting sheet when we were done.

we have started counting down until halloween. The kids know that when the leaves have fallen off the trees and there are not many left, it is halloween. They are quite excited.

The past two weeks we have been using play dough at the hands on table. Kids are leaving how to cut play dough, and form it. They are doing very well.

We will start again with behavior stickers next week. All children received 5 stickers and were allowed to pick out of the Magic toy and treat box. Surprisingly most kids picked fruit snacks. too funny.....

:)
